About the Artist

I can not remember a time  that I was not creating art . From my earliest years on it has always been a part of my life 

 This passion followed me to college where I studied art at the University of New Hampshire and then went on the receive an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design. 

 At RISD my interests shifted from fine art to metalsmithing.  What followed was a successful career designing and creating my own line of  jewelry which sold in galleries across the country. 

I then moved on to work in production for a large international luxury brand of jewelry. 

 Now, with my jewelry career behind me I have returned to my first love ; painting. 

 What inspires me are my surroundings. The ever changing beauty of the Hudson Valley where I live , the mountains and valleys of New England where I grew up and the sweeping landscapes of my summers on the outer beaches of Cape Cod.
